Day 40 Paducah Kentucky

Paducah Kentucky is located at the confluence of the Tennessee and Ohio rivers, only 30 miles from the Mississippi River so it became a center for Riverboat and rail transportation. The river has seen some huge floods over the years so they built a big cement wall to keep the river out when that happens. To make it prettier they covered it with murals depicting the Town’s history.  We had a fun afternoon and evening here sightseeing with Chris ,Catherine and the Watson’s. We found a moonshine store that gave out samples, tried a beer at a local brew pub and then dinner out. It was a good stop after a few stressful days on the Mississippi.

Here are a few pictures I took.
